Details
Grafana Labs is a remote-first, open-source powerhouse with more than 20M users of Grafana globally. The company helps over 3,000 companies manage their observability strategies with the Grafana LGTM Stack, available as Grafana Cloud (managed) or Grafana Enterprise Stack (self-managed). Grafana products include scalable metrics (Grafana Mimir), logs (Grafana Loki), and traces (Grafana Tempo).
This is a fully remote position; Grafana Labs is considering candidates in the US EST time zone.
About Product Management
As a Product Manager at Grafana Labs, you'll develop a vision and strategy for your product domain, own product roadmaps, collateral, and market research, and collaborate with Grafana leadership on product goals. You will be the primary advocate and expert for your area, communicating needs and functionality effectively to external customers and internal stakeholders. Teams are 100% remote and globally distributed, so proactive communication is essential. Product Managers connect Engineering, Design, and UX to GTM and are expected to be technically proficient when representing products to customers.
The opportunity
As the Product Manager for Performance Testing, you'll own the Grafana Cloud experience for performance testing built around the k6 open-source project. You will define how customers write, run, and act on performance tests across the software delivery lifecycle to make Grafana Cloud k6 the default choice for teams replacing legacy tools and adopting shift-left testing. The portfolio spans Grafana Cloud k6 (commercial cloud offering with execution at scale from 21 global locations) and k6 OSS (open-source CLI).
You will define how test results integrate with Grafana Cloud's metrics, logs, and traces, enabling rapid correlation from a failed load test to an offending trace. You will evolve performance testing across modalities such as protocol, browser, and mobile, and ensure Performance Testing integrates with broader Grafana Cloud products (Knowledge Graph, Application Observability, Kubernetes Monitoring) so customers can move seamlessly between pre-production validation and production monitoring.
