Information about the position
We are seeking a talented Manual Quality Assurance Engineer with a strong interest in shipping and logistics to join the Vinted Go Network team.
The team is highly focused on integrating new carriers into our shipping platform, enabling the Vinted marketplace to offer seamless domestic and cross-country shipping for a variety of products, such as heavy and bulky items, and services, like electronics verification, for our users. By doing so, we directly support Vinted’s mission to make second-hand the first choice, empowering people to trade pre-loved items effortlessly.
As our new Quality Assurance Engineer, your primary goal will be to ensure the quality of our shipping integrations and route configurations as we expand and onboard new carrier services, ensuring smooth and reliable shipments. In this role, you’ll not only focus on integrations but also dive deep into the shipping domain - a field we are passionate about. While strong quality assurance engineering skills are essential, we’re also looking for someone who can bring ideas to improve both our processes and the services we offer.
Our team consists of Backend engineers, a Quality Assurance engineer along with a product manager, a data scientist, and an engineering manager.
In this position, you’ll
- Primarily perform manual testing to ensure the quality of integrations with carriers.
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies, plans, and test cases.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand product and technical requirements, ensuring thorough test coverage.
- Participate in team rituals and collaborate closely with all team members.
- Communicate directly with carrier representatives to address integration needs.
- Assist in creating and maintaining testing standards, procedures, and guidelines.
- Mentor and support team members in quality assurance practices and methodologies.
About you
- Proven experience as a manual Quality Assurance Engineer or Tester.
- Strong expertise in API testing, with familiarity using tools like Postman.
- Deep understanding of QA methodologies and their practical application in daily tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and concepts.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and domains.
- A strong sense of ownership and accountability for your work.
- Ability to self-manage by planning your workload, setting priorities, and executing tasks efficiently.
- Basic experience working with SQL.

The salary range for this position is € 2,950 - € 3,983 gross per month.
