Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement the qualifications of new NVIDIA products, including IC chips in AI, Mobile, Automotive, Deep learning, Graphic Processor, and System on Chip sectors.
  • Investigate and analyze failures and failure mechanism, analyze data and develop failure models. Drive corrective and preventive actions and project field failures.
  • Participate in the assessment of reliability test requirements for non-conforming materials; maintain and improve reliability database.
  • Communicate clearly and produce product reliability qualification reports and presentations.

Requirements

  • Firm technical background in wafer fab, Flip Chip BGA, and COWOS packaging technologies.
  • Knowledge of CMOS devices physics, familiarity with reliability statistics, and models.
  • Familiarity with industry standards (like JEDEC, IPC, AEC-Q100).
  • Proficient in reliability data analysis tools such as JMP, Weibull++, and/or Minitab.
  • 8+ years of experience in IC reliability.
  • BS or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Material Sciences or equivalent experience. MS or PhD in EE is preferable.
