This is a visible role within Finance requiring product knowledge, advanced tools, analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to execute to company timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a translator and steward of financial data, guiding users to understand and properly employ the single source of truth reporting; demonstrate knowledge of data center hardware and product roadmap.
  • Manage multiple workstreams and maintain common custom fields used across different requests.
  • Analyze large data sets across multiple platforms and systems; synthesize data to draw conclusions, provide business insights, and tell a story through data.
  • Design and implement advanced data processing solutions in Python to identify and analyze customer and product sales behaviors for comprehensive analytics.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of data governance policies and procedures to ensure data integrity, quality, consistency, and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to find opportunities for process optimization, automation, consensus building, and cost reduction.
  • Design and build new reporting processes using SQL, AI tools, financial reporting standards, and database management.
  • Develop a contextual AI agent that automates reconciliation and maintains consistency across partners and previous submissions as well as external reporting.
  • Apply Financial Analysis / FP&A experience to explain financial performance (revenue, COGS, gross margin) with a product-centric approach.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in FP&A or Sales Operations working closely with business partners across departments.
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Python, and Tableau or Power BI; strong data modeling skills in SQL are essential.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or Economics. MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
  • Experience presenting findings from data analyses to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment; capable of managing multiple priorities and leading change and process improvement.

Ways to stand out

  • Experience in data center hardware such as computer networking, CPUs/GPUs, hard drives, RAM, or SSDs.
  • Experience applying accounting principles including general ledgers and contra-revenue / ASC 606 standards.
  • Experience with audit processes such as SOX controls and SOX system processes.
  • Knowledge or experience with Salesforce, SAP COPA, SAP SD, or SAP BPC.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary range: 144,000 USD - 230,000 USD (determined based on location, experience, and pay of employees in similar positions).
