Responsibilities

• Onboard and manage the datasets in the SIEM and data lakes
• Manage the data schema and unified data model for security data
• Build data products that will power advanced analytics and security detections
• Partner closely with various engineering and analytics teams to optimize and streamline the data products

Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience working in Security, with a strong focus on security data science or data engineering
• Experience with ETL and log ingestion pipelines
• Experience with containers, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms like AWS/GCP/Azure
• Fluency in a modern programming language (Golang, Python, Rust, etc.)
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks concurrently

Nice to Haves

• Significant experience with at least one enterprise-grade SIEM platform and integration or cloud data lake
• Deep understanding of log management principles, log formats, and data normalization techniques
• Proficiency in developing advanced correlation rules, use cases, and detection logic within a SIEM platform
