As part of NVIDIA's applied LLM and AI chip design team, you will work at the intersection of research, engineering, and product development to transform research breakthroughs into real-world solutions in generative AI and chip design.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Agentic AI solutions including sophisticated AI agents and fine tuning & integrating with enterprise production systems.
  • Design, develop, and deploy AI applications using large language models (LLMs), internal and external agentic frameworks, and related technologies.
  • Develop and optimize retrieval and generation algorithms for enterprise data (text, code, and images) to build advanced AI applications.
  • Design and deploy LLM-powered solutions for engineering assistants and multi-turn, multi-modal dialogue systems.
  • Drive impact by leveraging AI technologies to solve complex problems in chip design.
  • Engage with the latest advancements in machine learning and AI to create state-of-the-art solutions.
  • Maintain high-quality engineering practices and lead engineering efforts that inspire others.

Requirements

  • Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of proven industry experience.
  • Proficiency in rapid prototyping using Python with strong foundational knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
  • Experience with fine-tuning large language models, building advanced multi-agent / agentic systems, RAG pipelines, and vector databases.
  • Experience developing retrieval and generation algorithms and multi-modal AI systems.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to work in dynamic, product-focused, distributed teams.
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn new skills as needed.

Benefits

  • Base salary (location & level dependent). The posting lists base salary ranges of 152,000 USD - 241,500 USD for Level 3, and 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD for Level 4.
