Responsibilities

• Design and implement new financing products and features
• Create and build new reporting, monitoring, tools, frameworks and APIs
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers and senior leadership to turn our vision into tangible deliverables every quarter
• Improve developer efficiency, engineering excellence, and operational excellence
• Provide support to operations and other engineering teams
• Mentor team members and help uplift the technical skill set across the team

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in software engineering
• Experience designing, building, scaling, and maintaining critical low-latency production services
• Knowledge of service oriented architecture
• Good awareness of major SQL or No-SQL databases such as Postgres, SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB; interest in optimizing and maintaining them
• Passionate about building an open financial system leveraging crypto and blockchain technologies

Nice to haves

• Experience with Golang, Postgres, Kafka, Protobuf, and React
• Background in building financial, high reliability or security systems
