Responsibilities
- Build new services to meet critical product and business needs using Golang.
- Design scalable systems to solve novel problems with modern cloud technology and industry best practices.
- Articulate a long-term vision for maintaining and scaling backend systems and the teams running them.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and senior leadership to turn product and technical vision into a roadmap each quarter.
- Write high quality, well tested code to meet customer needs.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
- Experience designing, building, scaling, and maintaining production services with service-oriented architecture.
- Skilled in writing high quality, well tested code.
- Passionate about building an open financial system that connects the world.
Nice to Haves
- Growth experience in a rapidly scaling company (startup to mid-size).
- Experience with growth experiments or A/B testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with Blockchain technologies (Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc.).
- Experience decomposing monoliths into microservices.
- Experience with Golang, Ruby, Docker, Rails, Postgres, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.
- Experience building financial, high reliability, or security systems.
- Crypto-forward experience, including onchain activity such as interacting with Ethereum addresses, ENS, dApps, or blockchain-based services.

Additional Information
- Pay range: $186,065 to $218,900 USD per year plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
- Role is remote (#LI-Remote).
- Role involves working on highly complex technical problems bridging web-scale apps and blockchain technology.
- Emphasis on building highly secure, dockerized infrastructure in the cloud.
