Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 5+ years of industry experience with a BS/Masters or 2+ years with a PhD
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent work-related experience
  • Proficient in any of the following programming languages: C/C++, Java, C#, Python/Django, Ruby/Ruby on Rails
  • Experience with scaling and maintaining high-traffic production systems, including well-designed APIs, high volume data pipelines, efficient algorithms
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to evaluate technical approaches and tradeoffs
  • Effective communication skills for verbal and written stakeholder interaction
  • Strong project scoping and project management skills
  • Ability to mentor and develop other engineers

Benefits

  • Base pay range from $180,000 to $220,000 USD
  • Eligibility for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits
  • Remote eligible within the United States (must live in a state where Airbnb has a registered entity)
  • Occasional office or offsite work as agreed with manager
