Team Overview

The Consumer Product Group engineers strive to make the Coinbase retail app the easiest-to-use and fastest experience for accessing crypto.

Subteam Overview

The Growth Foundations team builds platforms used by other Coinbase teams to deliver all types of notifications to users at scale. Services built by the team are used by 50+ teams across Coinbase and power all Coinbase products including Retail, Wallet, and Institutional.

What we look for in you

• At least 5 years of experience in software engineering.
• Experience designing, building, scaling and maintaining production services.
• Knowledge of service-oriented architecture.
• Ability to write high quality, well tested code.
• Passion for building an open financial system that brings the world together.

What you’ll be doing

• Design and implement frontend interfaces and backend services for notification creation and launch.
• Frontend development with React/Typescript.
• Backend development in Golang.
• Ensure reliable and maintainable backend services for notification flows.
• Participate in on-call to support the content infrastructure and internal users.

Nice to Have

• Crypto-forward experience including familiarity with onchain activity like interacting with Ethereum addresses, using ENS, and engaging with dApps or blockchain-based services.

Salary

The target annual salary for this position ranges from $186,005 to $218,900 USD, plus target bonus, equity, and benefits.
