The Risk Platform Team fosters business growth by managing financial risks and building scalable systems to detect and prevent fraud with real-time and scheduled workflows.

We are seeking experienced Frontend Engineers to build the next generation of crypto-forward products and features, making cryptocurrency accessible globally.

Responsibilities

  • Shape the next generation of Risk Platform architecture powering Coinbase.
  • Define long-term technical direction and vision for web and mobile platforms.
  • Build simple, performant, reliable user interfaces with React, React Native, Typescript, React Navigation, Jest, and Webpack.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and leadership to deliver a quarterly roadmap.
  • Mentor team members on design techniques and coding standards.
  • Foster inclusive and positive team interactions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years experience in software engineering, focusing on web app development and shipping user-facing features with JavaScript and modern JS frameworks like React.
  • Proven experience with component-based UI frameworks.
  • Knowledge of front-end architecture, focusing on performance, security, and usability.
  • Experience collaborating within product and design lifecycles.
  • Ability to write high-quality, well-tested code.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience in finance or compliance-related front-end teams.
  • At least 1 year developing React Native mobile apps or migrating native apps to React Native.

Pay Range: $180,625 - $212,000 USD annually (plus target bonus, equity, and benefits).
