Team Context

Airbnb is powered by our Host and Guest communities. Our teams work on everything from driving improvements for the end-to-end Host and Guest experience to launching new product verticals from the ground up. Our job is to build world-class, comprehensive platforms and features to create high-quality experiences for our outstanding community of Hosts and Guests.

The Pricing team empowers Airbnb hosts to better run their business by providing tools and education to implement pricing strategies that adapt to their evolving goals. The Pricing Guidance team works closely with other engineering teams, Data Science, Modeling, Design, and Product to help our hosts.

Responsibilities

• Work with product and design partners to explore problem spaces and devise solutions to customer problems
• Collaborate proactively with other engineering teams to improve APIs and architecture iteratively
• Develop new host pricing functionality alongside product engineers and partners
• Create technical and execution strategies for new projects and implement solutions hands-on
• Identify improvement areas and drive adoption of best practices in product development, architecture, and testing
• Perform technical design and code reviews

Requirements

• 6+ years of industry experience
• Experience influencing partners such as designers and product managers as well as other engineering teams
• Enthusiasm for ideating, prototyping new ideas, and influencing product direction

Work Location

This is a remote position for U.S. residents only. Candidates must live in a state where Airbnb Inc. has a registered entity. Occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites may be required.

Benefits and Compensation

• Base pay range: $191,000 to $223,000 USD annually
• Eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits
