We are looking for an outstanding senior engineer in the backend infrastructure space to further the development of our high-performance cloud-based simulations and rendering capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Build, develop, deploy, optimize, and document backend infrastructure features.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams across the stack.
  • Drive adoption and frictionless integration of the stack.
  • Ensure a high level of architectural quality and performance in developed code and features.
  • Debug and fix deficiencies.
  • Support members of other teams / clients as they adopt the developed technology.
  • Support the technology on multiple hardware platforms.
  • Partner and collaborate with peers and managers.

Requirements

  • B.Sc, Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science/Engineering, Math/Physics/Statistics or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 12+ overall years of validated experience.
  • Strong Rust, Python, or C++ skills (GitHub presence is a plus).
  • Experience with large scale storage systems and/or networking.
  • Deep expertise in Kubernetes, cloud native computing, and infrastructure-as-code.
  • Self-starter with strong sense of end-to-end ownership; able to work independently in ambiguous environments.
  • Demonstrated sense of software architecture and outstanding teamwork/collaboration skills.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary range: 224,000 USD - 356,500 USD (final base determined by location, experience, and internal pay parity).
