Details
NVIDIA is hiring engineers to scale the introduction of next generation architecture into its EDA Infrastructure. The role requires deep experience with new product introductions (NPIs), distributed systems, software testing and deployment, and strong communication and planning skills. Engineers on this team will help advance NVIDIA's capacity to build and deploy leading infrastructure solutions for EDA clusters and next-generation computing.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical activities for new product introductions at scale with a focus on hybrid deployments between cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
- Provide expertise in NPI planning spanning infrastructure workflows, hardware, software release, workload orchestration and application tuning.
- Produce clear, reliable architecture specifications and provide fast, creative solutions for complex problems.
- Translate requirements into vision, architecture and roadmap.
- Collaborate with engineering teams across NVIDIA to ensure new product architectures integrate from hardware up through workloads.
Requirements
- 12+ years overall experience.
- BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics) or equivalent experience.
- Proven track record of impactful project deliveries focused on cloud infrastructure or cloud application services.
- Experience with at-scale infrastructure, DevOps and/or SRE practices and/or Platform Engineering.
- Systematic problem-solving approach, strong communication skills, and a sense of ownership and drive.
- System-level experience with both hardware and software.
- Motivated self-starter able to work concurrently with multiple groups locally and abroad.
- Passion for continuous learning and knowledge transfer.
Ways to stand out
- Experience developing ML/AI infrastructure.
- Experience with bare metal as a service (BMaaS) systems.
- Experience developing multi-cloud infrastructure services.
- Strong interest and experience in analyzing and fixing large-scale distributed systems.
Compensation and benefits
- Base salary ranges (determined by location, experience, and comparable pay levels):
- Level 5: 224,000 USD - 356,500 USD
- Level 6: 272,000 USD - 431,250 USD
- Eligible for equity and benefits.
