Responsibilities
- Work with product engineering and client infrastructure teams to improve and evolve Sentry's Mobile products, including building the future of performance monitoring and working with new technologies like Session Replay.
- Use a variety of programming languages and technologies to own and solve problems related to mobile SDKs: JavaScript/TypeScript, Swift/Objective-C, Kotlin/Java, and Dart.
- Collaborate with other SDK teams on API and protocol design that scale to ingest over a billion events daily.
- Engage with teams and stakeholders across the company to drive strategic initiatives for the mobile team.
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure the correctness of work and create strong documentation to help educate peers and customers.
- Assist Customer Operations to resolve live customer issues caused by SDK bugs.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience as a Software Engineer or related role (mobile app developer, SDK engineer).
- Experience developing for mobile platforms (iOS and/or Android).
- Proficiency in programming languages used on mobile platforms.
- Experience with React Native; bonus points for Flutter, C/C++, or maintaining open source libraries.
- Proven ability to successfully drive cross-functional projects.
- Good written and spoken English communication skills.
- Willing to live in the Vienna area or relocate.
