Details
The Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) team at Bloomberg is building the next generation of internal platforms that power our global workforce. This role is a hands-on engineering position focused on evolving and scaling the Workday HCM ecosystem, building integrations and Extend applications, and partnering with business stakeholders to deliver solutions used across the company.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Workday integrations and Workday Extend applications that support critical HR processes
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
- Own end-to-end delivery — from design and development to deployment and optimization
- Drive innovation by incorporating AI and automation into ERP workflows and processes
- Improve system performance, reliability, and maintainability across the Workday platform
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Workday developer
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Strong expertise with Workday Studio, Workday Extend, EIB, Report Writer, Calculated Fields, and Connectors
- Experience designing and implementing Workday integrations
- Solid experience with integration technologies: REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, XSLT
- Background in systems engineering and enterprise application development
- Strong understanding of HR systems and business processes
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, and Linux
Additional (Nice to Have)
- Experience with PeopleSoft Payroll, Application Designer, App Engine, SQR, PeopleCode, Integration Broker, BI Publisher, SQL
Benefits
- Annual salary range (listed): 160,000 - 210,000 USD
