Details

The Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) team at Bloomberg is building the next generation of internal platforms that power our global workforce. This role is a hands-on engineering position focused on evolving and scaling the Workday HCM ecosystem, building integrations and Extend applications, and partnering with business stakeholders to deliver solutions used across the company.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain Workday integrations and Workday Extend applications that support critical HR processes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
  • Own end-to-end delivery — from design and development to deployment and optimization
  • Drive innovation by incorporating AI and automation into ERP workflows and processes
  • Improve system performance, reliability, and maintainability across the Workday platform

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Workday developer
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Strong expertise with Workday Studio, Workday Extend, EIB, Report Writer, Calculated Fields, and Connectors
  • Experience designing and implementing Workday integrations
  • Solid experience with integration technologies: REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, XSLT
  • Background in systems engineering and enterprise application development
  • Strong understanding of HR systems and business processes
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, and Linux

Additional (Nice to Have)

  • Experience with PeopleSoft Payroll, Application Designer, App Engine, SQR, PeopleCode, Integration Broker, BI Publisher, SQL
