Details

Bloomberg’s Workplace Productivity team builds internal solutions across Microsoft 365/Azure and Google Workspace for over 25,000 employees. The team partners closely with product to discover real business problems, shape approaches, and deliver production-ready solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Build production services and automation solutions that integrate with Microsoft 365, Azure, and Google Workspace.
  • Turn new capabilities from Microsoft and Google into secure, governed solutions for internal teams.
  • Establish governance and lifecycle management for adopted features to ensure long-term reliability, security, and alignment with internal standards.
  • Design and operate web and Windows services that integrate with internal systems and platforms.
  • Manage DevOps pipelines and enable automated, scalable deployments using GitHub and configuration-as-code.
  • Deliver operational support across the full software development lifecycle: design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software development, specializing in building production services and automation solutions using C#, Python, and PowerShell.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience designing and operating web and Windows services and integrating them with other internal systems.
  • Demonstrated experience managing DevOps pipelines and leveraging GitHub for configuration-as-code and automated deployments.
  • Familiarity with security posture improvements and hardening concepts in cloud environments (least privilege, logging/monitoring/auditing).
  • Experience delivering data protection and compliance solutions, including designing DLP policies and integrating Microsoft 365 and/or Google Workspace with third-party security systems.

Preferred / Nice-to-have

  • Understanding of AI tooling such as M365 Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini and working knowledge of governance models.
  • Experience with governance for Copilot Studio agents, including oversight of Model Context Protocol (MCP), security, and compliance controls.
  • Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert).
  • Security certifications (e.g., SANS) and Google Workspace administration experience/certifications.
  • Deep understanding of Microsoft 365 services at enterprise scale.
  • Strong proficiency in Azure Entra ID and related identity/access security features such as Conditional Access and Defender for O365.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: 160000 - 240000 USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus
