NVIDIA is seeking an accomplished Map Data QA engineer to perform validation of HD/SD map data — a vital component in autonomous driving. The role requires extensive prior experience in mapping, deep domain knowledge of map data structure and validation strategy, and proficiency producing data validation reports.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a strategy for verifying map data to meet product requirements
  • Define map data validation rules
  • Participate in the development of an automated map data validation framework
  • Perform map data validation (HD/SD maps)
  • Train and support mapping operators on analyzing data validation results
  • Produce data validation reports

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
  • At least 5 years of dedicated QA work in the area of map data validation
  • Extensive knowledge of map data validation standards and methodologies
  • Deep domain knowledge of map data structure and validation strategy
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal direction
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • GIS background is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary range: 132,000 USD - 207,000 USD for Level 3, and 152,000 USD - 253,000 USD for Level 4.
  • You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
