Details
NVIDIA is seeking an accomplished Map Data QA engineer to perform validation of HD/SD map data — a vital component in autonomous driving. The role requires extensive prior experience in mapping, deep domain knowledge of map data structure and validation strategy, and proficiency producing data validation reports.
Responsibilities
- Develop a strategy for verifying map data to meet product requirements
- Define map data validation rules
- Participate in the development of an automated map data validation framework
- Perform map data validation (HD/SD maps)
- Train and support mapping operators on analyzing data validation results
- Produce data validation reports
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
- At least 5 years of dedicated QA work in the area of map data validation
- Extensive knowledge of map data validation standards and methodologies
- Deep domain knowledge of map data structure and validation strategy
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal direction
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- GIS background is a plus

Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: 132,000 USD - 207,000 USD for Level 3, and 152,000 USD - 253,000 USD for Level 4.
- You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
