We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join our 2 Content Recognition squads Argos & Olympus, part of area IT4Ops & Foundation. This area is part of the tribe Digital & Customer interaction (DCI). The tribe is a.o. owner of customer data, CRM, marketing, all customer interactions and much more.

The Content Recognition squads are responsible for offering services to the rest of the Retail organization to automatically recognize, categorize and optionally extra the right data from unstructured content such as documents, but also emails.

You and your job

As a Solution Architect Content Recognition, you are responsible to make sure the Content Recognition Services are state-of-the-art (inc genAI), high performant yet light weight in use. As an architect specifically, you are responsible for the quality of technical designs, realized solutions and the data architecture. You have to understand the as-is situation, but more importantly be able to bring Content Recognition to the next level in collaboration with Business and IT. Your experience and knowledge will however be used throughout the entire area IT4Ops & Foundation, and you will contribute to and participate in the architecture chapter of DCI. That chapter consists of roughly 30 architects.

Within the Area of IT4Ops & Foundation we manage a large number of systems, where you are leading in designing security and taking along the squads for implementation. You will be a linking pin between the area architect and the squads, alignment, initiative and communication are key.

You will be using cutting edge technologies and have the opportunity to lay the foundation and vision on Content Recognition solutions used to optimize the customer experience for all the banks digital & customer interaction.

  • Translate business requirements into a technical design that fits into the (enterprise) architecture
  • Take ownership and responsibility for the quality of technical designs and realized solutions
  • Guarantee the usability of the products by ensuring the following points: quality, performance, availability, scalability, security, privacy, integrity and accessibility
  • Advocate the capabilities that your squads deliver in supporting other squads within the tribe
  • Pro-actively monitor market developments

You and your talent

You are a person who likes a challenge and doesn’t mind to build something from scratch. Obviously you are customer focused, independent, a conceptual thinker, self-starter, analytical skilled, but also a team player and transparent in your communication. In addition, it's important that you recognize everything in the following:

  • Academic level
  • Knowledge and experience with digital platforms and Saas solutions
  • Understand technologies used within IT Rabobank, e.g. Azure Cloud and Azure DevOps
  • It would be a great benefit if you have hands-on experience in the field of document intelligence, natural language understanding and GenAI
  • Practical experience with architecture methods and techniques (e.g. Archimate, DYA, TOGAF)
  • Knowledge/experience with designing cloud native solutions (preferably on Azure)
  • You are familiar with the rituals of Agile / Scrum
  • Good command of English (business level)
  • You are not afraid to voice your professional opinion and have an open view on the future
  • You see what needs to be done and take initiative to make sure items get moving and issues resolved.
