Role overview
We’re looking for a Senior Solutions Architect (Professional Services) to join Grafana Labs’ Customer Experience team. This is a hands-on role for technically skilled professionals who help customers solve complex problems, accelerate adoption, and drive real business outcomes using Grafana and related observability technologies. You will work closely with customers during onboarding, implementation, and expansion, delivering training, tailored technical consulting, and best practices. You will also collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Support, and Professional Services teams to advocate for customers and drive product improvements.
Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted technical partner for customers, not a quota-carrying seller.
- Work effectively with customers including business executives, project managers, and IT development staff.
- Understand business needs and translate them into technical and business requirements.
- Design solutions for data visualization, workflows, migrations, and enterprise-scale architectures.
- Lead functional workshops, document requirements, and design appropriate solutions.
- Deliver high-impact training and jumpstart engagements.
- Provide white-glove support and tailored technical consulting to ensure alignment between Grafana capabilities and customer architecture, goals, and constraints.
- Identify recurring issues, monitor support needs, and advocate for product improvements.
- Stay current on Grafana Labs products, observability, and related technologies.
Requirements
- Located in the Netherlands.
- 5+ years of experience working on deployment teams, using project management techniques.
- Direct experience with observability (o11y).
- Knowledge of best practices for using and deploying an observability stack (visualization, alerting, metrics, logs, traces), preferably with Grafana products (Grafana, Prometheus/Cortex/Enterprise Metrics, Loki/Enterprise Logs, Jaeger/Tempo).
- Proven track record of successful delivery of customer projects, preferably enterprise observability implementations.
- Excellent communication skills for customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Kubernetes experience (kubectl; Helm and Tanka preferred).
- Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, Azure.
- Comfortable working at the command line and with open-source software.

Compensation & Rewards
- Netherlands base compensation range: 109,697 - 131,636 EUR (actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset).
- All roles include Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
