Grafana Labs is the company behind the open observability cloud and Grafana Cloud, a fully managed observability platform. We are a 100% remote company with a global team. This role sits on the Customer Experience team and is a hands-on technical role focused on helping customers solve complex problems, accelerate adoption, and drive business outcomes using Grafana and related observability technologies.
Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted technical partner to customers throughout onboarding, implementation, and expansion.
- Provide white-glove support, best practices, and proven strategies gathered across the customer base.
- Work both in code and with customers to solve technical problems (for example: Kubernetes orchestration, Prometheus query tuning, and differences between logs, metrics, and traces).
- Deliver high-impact training, jumpstart engagements, and tailored technical consulting.
- Lead functional workshops, document requirements, design solutions (data visualization, workflows, migrations, enterprise-scale architecture).
- Advocate for standards and best practices and collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Support, and Professional Services.
- Identify recurring issues, monitor support needs, and advocate for product improvements.
Requirements
- Located in the United Kingdom.
- 5+ years of experience working on deployment teams, using project management techniques.
- Direct experience with observability (o11y) and best practices for using and deploying an observability stack (visualization, alerting, metrics, logs, traces).
- Preferably experience with Grafana products (Grafana, Prometheus / Cortex / Enterprise Metrics, Loki / Enterprise Logs, Jaeger / Tempo).
- Proven track record of successful delivery of customer projects, preferably enterprise observability implementations for large customers.
- Excellent communication skills to work with customers, partners, and internal teams.
- Kubernetes experience (kubectl; Helm and Tanka preferred).
- Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, Azure.

Compensation & Rewards
- UK base compensation range: £103,900 - £124,500 (actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset).
- All roles include Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
- 100% remote company, global annual leave policy of 30 days per annum (subject to local legislation) and in-person onboarding.
