Details
Join NVIDIA's Solutions Engineering team that is reshaping the future of driving. The team builds and deploys scalable solutions for autonomous vehicles to create safer and more efficient roads. The role is hands-on and focused on enabling customer productivity, developing relationships with technology partners, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver solutions on NVIDIA's platform.
Responsibilities
- Lead vehicle software integration and bring-up activities, collaborating with internal and external partner teams to develop and launch autonomous vehicle solutions.
- Drive use case analysis, define functional requirements, define critical metrics and test ADAS features.
- Examine and diagnose factors driving metrics, uncover trends, and prioritize engineering initiatives to improve product experience.
- Customize, reconfigure, and rebuild processing pipelines in the software stack.
- Integrate hardware and software components efficiently and build scalable solutions alongside partners.
- Collaborate with global engineering teams across the US, APAC, and Europe to deploy solutions to customers.
Requirements
- Well-rounded knowledge of how an autonomous vehicle stack (or similarly complex system) functions, with real-world experience integrating diverse components into scalable solutions.
- 5+ years of work-related experience in software development related to embedded systems and/or autonomous driving technologies.
- BS/MS in computer science, robotics, electrical engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- Excellent C/C++ development skills with good knowledge of Python.
- Proficiency in system performance and complexity evaluation to optimize systems and resolve application issues.
- Experience with automotive design processes and standards (e.g., ISO 26262 FuSa, ISO 21448 SOTIF, ASPICE), including in-vehicle testing, simulation, and development guided by measurable outcomes.
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced development lifecycles, multi-functional organizations, new technologies and platforms.
- Strong analytical skills, innovation mindset, and outstanding attention to detail.
Ways to stand out
- Familiarity with NVIDIA DRIVE platform, NVIDIA GPU hardware, and CUDA programming.
- Software development experience on QNX or equivalent RTOS.
- Prior experience in application development and familiarity with middleware frameworks and intricate system-level integrations.
- Experience as an ADAS software engineer at a Tier 1 supplier or OEM.
- Experience with in-vehicle networking and application frameworks: CAN, FlexRay, Ethernet, SOME/IP, Classical and Adaptive AUTOSAR.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: 152,000 USD - 241,500 USD for Level 3, and 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD for Level 4. Your base salary will be determined based on location, experience, and pay of employees in similar positions.
