We are looking for a Solutions Architect (ProServ) to join our world-class Customer Experience (CX) team. Solutions Architects at Grafana Labs provide customers with specialized business and technical consultation and guidance to achieve their objectives using Grafana.

Role Overview

Customers have a professional services partner that understands their challenges and guides them to solutions through training, roadmapping, and specialized consulting. Our Solutions Architects are hands-on-keyboard, understanding the ecosystem of services customers use and work with to ensure success with Grafana. The role includes managing the lifecycle of customer onboarding and adoption of Grafana offerings, delivering training, quick-starts, project assurance, and consulting for complex customers. Additionally, the Solutions Architect supports ongoing customer use, monitors support requests, advocates improvements to products, and combines technical skills with customer engagement and project management.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with customers, including business executives, project managers, and IT development staff.
• Understand business needs and translate them into business and technical requirements.
• Design solutions involving data visualization, workflow recommendations, migrations, and enterprise-scale architecture.
• Act as a functional lead, lead workshops, document requirements, and design appropriate solutions.
• Maintain speed and agility in accelerating solution delivery.
• Advocate adherence to standards and best practices.
• Stay current on Grafana Labs, observability, and related technologies.
• Support Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Support, and Professional Services teams by driving innovation and improvement.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience on deployment teams with project management techniques.
• Direct experience with observability (o11y).
• Best practices expertise for deploying and using an observability stack (visualization, alerting, metrics, logs, traces), preferably with Grafana products (Grafana, Prometheus/Cortex/Enterprise Metrics, Loki/Enterprise Logs, Jaeger/Tempo).
• Proven track record delivering enterprise o11y implementations for large customers.
• Self-starter with aptitude to learn new skills and technologies.
• Excellent communication skills for customers, partners, and internal teams.
• Vision to help drive company growth.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes (kubectl, Helm, Tanka preferred).
• Experience with cloud platforms AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Compensation range for the UK: £100,930 - £121,116 per year, varying by level and experience.
