Senior Solutions Architect

Details

We are looking for a Solutions Architect (ProServ) to join our world class Customer Experience (CX) team. Solutions Architects at Grafana Labs provide customers with specialized business and technical consultation, and guidance to achieve their objectives using Grafana.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with customers, including business executives, project managers, and IT development staff.
• Understand business needs and translate them into business and technical requirements.
• Handle complex business and technological requirements and design solutions including data visualization, workflow recommendations, migrations, and enterprise scale architecture.
• Act as a functional lead, lead functional workshops with customers, document requirements, and design appropriate solutions.
• Accelerate solution delivery for customers in a nimble team.
• Advocate adherence to standards and best practices.
• Stay current on Grafana Labs, observability, and related technologies.
• Serve as a key resource for Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Support, and Professional Services teams to drive innovation and product improvements.
• Engage with customers, deliver specialized consulting, training, project and roadmap assurance, and support ongoing adoption of Grafana offerings and features.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working on deployment teams using project management techniques.
• Direct experience with observability (o11y).
• Knowledge of best practices for using and deploying observability stacks including visualization, alerting, metrics, logs, and traces, preferably with Grafana products (Grafana, Prometheus/Cortex/Enterprise Metrics, Loki/Enterprise Logs, Jaeger/Tempo).
• Proven track record of successful delivery of customer projects, preferably large enterprise observability implementations.
• Self-starter with eagerness to learn new skills and technologies.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers, partners, and internal teams.
• Vision to help advance the company.
• Experience with Kubernetes (kubectl, Helm, Tanka preferred).
• Experience with Cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, and Azure.
