Grafana Labs is a remote-first, open-source company with more than 20M users of Grafana. Grafana is an open source visualization tool used worldwide to monitor everything from small-scale sensors to large enterprise systems. Grafana Labs helps customers with the Grafana Cloud and Grafana Enterprise Stack, including components such as Grafana Mimir (metrics), Grafana Loki (logs), and Grafana Tempo (traces).
Responsibilities
- Act as a customer-facing product expert and technical pre-sales resource.
- Partner with Sales to articulate Grafana's value proposition, vision, and strategy.
- Own technical engagement with customers and help close complex opportunities through advanced competitive knowledge, technical skill, and credibility.
- Deliver product and technical presentations, demos, and technical evaluations to potential and existing customers.
- Communicate customer feedback and competitive insights to Product Management and Engineering teams.
- Drive product conversations based on customer needs and problems.
- Contribute to documentation and enablement materials including blog posts, videos, and knowledge base articles.
Requirements
- 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience.
- Must be located in the United Kingdom.
- Strong written and oral communication skills for collaboration with remote internal teams and worldwide customers.
- Ability to listen to prospects/customers, extract requirements, ask the right questions, and translate those into a technical solution using Grafana technologies.
- Strong judgment, collaboration, and leadership skills; comfort with complex assignments.
- A technical mindset with a desire to grow technically.
Bonus (nice to have)
- Experience with Open Source technologies.
- Experience in the metrics/monitoring or observability space.
- Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDD(P)ICC.
Compensation & Rewards
- UK OTE (On-Target Earnings) range: £111,500 - £134,000 (actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset).
- All roles include Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
