Details
Grafana Labs is a remote-first, open-source company that builds observability tools used by millions worldwide. The Enterprise Solutions Engineering team are customer-facing product experts who educate potential and existing customers through demos, hands-on enablement, presentations, technical evaluations and ongoing engagement. The team partners closely with Sales and provides feedback into Product Management and Engineering.
Responsibilities
- Join a high-growth team to solve technical and customer problems.
- Partner with Sales to articulate Grafana's value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers.
- Own technical engagement with customers and help close opportunities using competitive knowledge and technical credibility.
- Deliver product and technical presentations, demos, and hands-on enablement for potential and existing customers.
- Proactively communicate customer feedback and competitive insights to internal teams.
- Drive product conversations based on customer needs discovered during interactions.
- Contribute to documentation, blog posts, videos, knowledge base articles, and other internal and public enablement materials.
Requirements
- Ideally located in the Central Region of the United States.
- 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience, ideally with open source technologies or in the metrics/monitoring space.
- Strong written and oral communication skills for collaborating with remote internal teams and worldwide customers.
- Ability to deliver demos, presentations, and technical evaluations; comfortable with hands-on enablement.
- Technical mindset and desire to grow technically; candidates with coding bootcamp, post-sales, or engineering backgrounds are welcome.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote-first, international team.

- Metrics and monitoring technologies including Grafana Mimir
- Logging with Grafana Loki
- Tracing with Grafana Tempo
- Open source observability ecosystem and related technologies
Compensation & Rewards
- In the United States the OTE (On-Target Earnings) compensation range for this role is $204,000 - $254,000. Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset.
- All roles include Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
