Responsibilities
- Join an early, high-growth team to solve technical and customer problems.
- Partner with Sales to articulate Grafana's value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers.
- Own the technical engagement with customers and help close high-velocity opportunities through competitive knowledge, technical skill, and credibility.
- Deliver product and technical presentations, demos, hands-on enablement, and technical evaluations to potential and existing customers.
- Proactively communicate customer feedback and competitive landscape insights to internal teams (Product Management and Engineering).
- Drive product conversations based on customer needs discovered during interactions.
- Contribute to documentation, blog posts, videos, knowledge base articles, and other internal and public enablement materials.
Requirements
- Ideally located in the Ontario area (Canada).
- 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience, ideally with Open Source technologies or in the Metrics/Monitoring (observability) space.
- Remote-first collaboration skills to work effectively with an international team.
- First-class written and oral communication skills to collaborate with remote internal teams and worldwide customers; ability to articulate product value and technical advantages.
- A technical mindset and desire to grow technically; candidates with coding bootcamp experience or prior post-sales/engineering experience are welcome.
- Comfortable solving technical challenges and presenting creative solutions to customers.
- Self-motivated, initiative-taking, creative, and collaborative with strong judgment and leadership for varied startup duties.
Compensation & Rewards
- In Canada, the OTE (On-Target Earnings) compensation range for this role is CAD 196,500 - CAD 235,800 (actual compensation may vary by level, experience, and skillset).
- All roles include Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
- Compensation ranges are country-specific; applicants from other locations will be informed of their market-specific pay range during the hiring process.
