Responsibilities
- Join as an early member of a high-growth team and solve technical and customer problems
- Partner with the Sales team to articulate Grafana's value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers
- Own the technical engagement with customers and help close high-velocity opportunities through advanced competitive knowledge, technical skill, and credibility
- Deliver product and technical presentations, demos, and hands-on enablement to potential and existing customers
- Proactively communicate with customers and internal teams to provide a feedback loop into Product Management and Engineering
- Drive product conversations based on customer needs and problems learned during engagements
- Enhance documentation, write blog posts, record videos, contribute knowledge base articles, and create other public and internal enablement material
Requirements
- Ideally located on the West Coast of the United States (role is remote)
- 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience, ideally with open source technologies or in the metrics/monitoring space
- Strong written and oral communication skills for collaboration with remote internal teams and worldwide customers
- Technical mindset with a desire to grow technically; candidates with post-sales or engineering experience or recent coding-bootcamp grads may be considered
- Comfortable working in a startup, remote-first environment; strong judgment, collaboration, and leadership
- Passion for solving technical challenges and delivering creative solutions to customers
Compensation & Rewards
- In the United States the OTE (On-Target Earnings) compensation range for this role is $204,000 - $254,000. Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset as assessed throughout the interview process.
- All roles include Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
