Details
Airbnb is seeking a Senior Staff for Advanced Analytics to provide critical support in growing the guest app experience. This role reports to the Senior Manager of Guest App and partners closely with senior stakeholders across multiple cross-functional teams to lead data strategy, improve conversion, and develop a multi-product app experience.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a key analytics partner to senior stakeholders, providing data-driven insights to guide strategic decisions and ensure clarity of communication and alignment on analytics initiatives.
- Elevate analytical craft across the analytics team, including advanced data analysis, statistical modeling, experimentation, and metric frameworks.
- Design, execute, and analyze complex experiments (A/B tests and quasi-experiments) to measure feature impact and inform product iteration.
- Solve large, open-ended critical business questions without known prior solutions and proactively identify under-invested areas with opportunity, driving cross-functional alignment on investment.
- Collaborate with teams including Strategic Finance, Data Engineering, Data Science, and Product Marketing.
- Leverage AI-assisted tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to increase efficiency and automate repetitive analytical tasks where appropriate.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in advanced analytics, preferably in marketplace and/or travel industries.
- Deep technical expertise in data analysis, experimentation, causal inference, statistical modeling, and familiarity with LLMs.
- Deep domain expertise in one area or broad expertise across multiple domain areas.
- Robust business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to make informed judgments and drive projects from ideation to impact.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills; able to engage a variety of stakeholders and convey complex concepts accessibly.
- Quantitative undergraduate degree required; advanced degree highly preferred.
Location
- This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed with your manager.
- Candidates must live in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity (some states are excluded).
Compensation & Benefits
- Base pay range: $212,000—$265,000 USD.
- This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
