The team supports pipelines, programs, and policy bodies and is part of the broader Data Infrastructure organization responsible for online and offline data infrastructure and the components that transition data between these environments.

  • Lead cross-functional task forces (Infosec, Legal, Privacy) to navigate regulatory landscapes (e.g., GDPR, AI Act) and translate requirements into engineering work.
  • Mentor and coach Senior and Staff engineers across the organization on data best practices.

  • Deep expertise in the Java/Scala/Spark ecosystem, with preference for knowledge of S3 and Iceberg.
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL query authoring.
  • Experience with data modeling, governance, compliance, and scaled data quality.
  • Strong ability to drive cultural and organizational change regarding data ownership and quality.
