Details
We are looking for a hard-working and experienced system software engineer to join our team and work on innovative datacenter interconnects. You will be responsible for designing and implementing kernel and microcode to support the next-generation of NVLink interconnects. This role requires extensive collaboration with GPU architects, system architects, ASIC designers and other FW/SW teams to produce world class products.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement next-generation NVLink features in C/C++.
- Support the bring up of new NVLink platforms from Pre-Silicon to Production.
- Perform verification, validation, and testing of NVLink-connected products using various methods and tools.
- Debug and resolve issues related to NVLink and provide technical support to customers and partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of relevant software development experience.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and scripting with Python.
- Proven experience in system software, microcode, networking, or related areas.
- Knowledge of computer architecture, operating systems, device drivers, firmware, and security features.
- Experience in software development lifecycles including generating design consensus, code peer reviews, testing, and production branching.
- Understanding of hardware development lifecycles including pre-silicon and bring-up.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Compensation and benefits
- Base salary range: 152,000 USD - 241,500 USD (determined based on location, experience, and pay of employees in similar positions).
