The Autonomous Vehicles Product/Program Management team is searching for an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead the end-to-end development of new autonomous driving features. We are the leading artificial intelligence computing company and are paving the way with innovations in gaming, visualization, supercomputing and self-driving cars. As a key member of our Autonomous Vehicles Team, you will be a key leader responsible for the software development execution of our autonomous driving software stack. NVIDIA gives automakers, Tier 1 suppliers, automotive research institutions, and start-ups the power and flexibility to develop and deploy breakthrough artificial intelligence systems for self-driving vehicles. Today, we are working with over 270 partners that are using our platform in the development of autonomous cars, trucks, shuttles and taxis.

Responsibilities

Lead automotive software development across multiple engineering teams related to ADAS/Autonomy features.
Work with engineering leads to define product and roadmaps, develop schedules, and drive the execution and tracking of these across the organization.
Coordinate release content and efforts with multiple program managers and engineering managers who own individual components.
Establish metrics to assess and improve product quality and execution.
Develop a strong technical understanding of the stack to proactively identify and handle technical challenges, and resolve issues that affect scope, schedule and quality.
Regularly communicate the program status and key issues to management and multi-functional teams within the organization.

Requirements

BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience) with 8+ years of experience in a similar or related role.
Experience driving the planning and execution of complex software engineering projects, and delivering new products or features to users.
Proven experience in Automotive, Robotics and/or AI.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to collaborate on global projects across large organizations.

Ways to stand out from the crowd

Proven experience leading end-to-end development of ADAS, autonomous vehicles and/or machine learning.
Experience with Jira and/or JAMA, to the point that you can comfortably guide an engineering team how to use these tools.
Experience with start-ups and/or early-stage products.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary range (Level 4): 168,000 USD - 258,750 USD.
Base salary range (Level 5): 200,000 USD - 322,000 USD.
You will also be eligible for equity and benefits (link provided in original posting).
