Role overview
We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Engineer to develop, maintain and support ServiceNow applications in line with business requirements and best practices. The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be "Engineer IV." This is a full-time position based in Katowice (Zabrska 19).
Responsibilities
- Developing, maintaining, and supporting ServiceNow applications in line with business requirements and best practices
- Integrating ServiceNow with other systems using APIs, web services, and orchestration
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to functionality, performance, and security
- Collaborating closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions
- Supporting the Product Manager with functional refinements to assess technical feasibility
- Staying up to date with the latest ServiceNow features and platform trends
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in ServiceNow development and administration
- Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) and/or IT Operations Management – Data Foundations
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience with common web and platform technologies such as XML, JavaScript, JSON, HTML and CSS
- Experience with CI/CD and Automated Test Framework (ATF)
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – ITSM (CIS-ITSM) and/or ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Data Foundations (CIS-DF)
- A strong command of English, both written and spoken
- A growth mindset, strong customer focus, and a collaborative attitude
- The ability to understand, challenge, and deliver solutions that meet business requirements
Nice to have
- Experience with Now Assist
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – any other product
- Experience with Azure DevOps
- Experience with Kafka
