The objective of the Personal Banking Grid (department) is to ensure that each of their visits is not only secure, but also a personal and smooth experience. We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer, who can help us serve our clients even better. Curious to hear more? Then continue reading!

Responsibilities

As a Site Reliability Engineer at our grid, you play a key role in realizing ABN AMRO's strategy of being a personal bank in a digital age. With your interdisciplinary team, you are responsible for designing and implementing scalable, high available and performant systems. You work on, for example, our automation framework, design and development. Moreover, you will work on our telemetry systems. Within our grid you will work together with different teams and help them to make informed decisions on their engineering work in alignment with the sub-departmental goals. Hence we are looking for someone who takes a proactive approach and has strong communication skills.

Requirements

Must have:

  • Strong expertise in Backend development in Cloud native environment
  • Experience in mentoring across teams and providing solutions within the SRE chapter.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code technologies such as Ansible
  • Proficiency with Kubernetes
  • Deep understanding in security best practices in cloud development

Good to share:

  • A GitHub personal link with your own projects on contributions/ any other platform that showcases your skills
  • A broad interest in the industry best practices
