Information about the position

We’re looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to help evolve and scale a Database infrastructure that consists of more than ~3200 fat servers in 4 data centers and multiple regions. As part of the Production Engineering team, you’ll work with us on a Database infrastructure and related tooling. In this position, you’ll

• Build, maintain, improve and scale the Vitess infrastructure which serves 2 Million queries per second
• Automate operations with Temporal workflows
• Build and improve tooling around our Database infrastructure

About you

• At least 2 years of programming experience
• A curious and responsible individual who wants to learn and master concepts and technologies we use
• Experience with relational databases
• Good knowledge of Linux operating systems
• Advantage: Knowledge of Go and Ruby programing languages
