Responsibilities

• Power highly performant, highly available systems for traders worldwide.
• Architect robust systems supporting many instrument types (Spot, Futures, Perpetual Futures, and more).
• Collaborate closely with product and design teams to provide a best-in-class product experience.
• Translate innovative ideas into tangible, high-value features for customers.

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of software engineering experience, particularly with web-scale traffic.
• Experience designing, building, scaling, and maintaining evolving production services.
• High standards for product excellence, combining customer obsession with comprehensive observability.
• Ability to empower and cultivate teammates.
• Up-to-date knowledge of latest industry standards and best practices.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with active trading systems or other high availability financial systems.
• Personal trading experience in crypto or financial instruments.
• Experience with rapid company growth phases (startup to mid-size).
• Experience upgrading legacy systems or re-architecting next-generation systems.
• Proficiency with Golang, MongoDB, Redis.
• Crypto-forward experience, including familiarity with on-chain activity.

This role is remote and full-time, with an annual target salary of $154,000 CAD plus target bonus, equity, and benefits including medical, dental, and vision.
