Responsibilities

  • Build new backend services using Golang to meet critical product and business needs.
  • Design scalable systems using modern cloud technologies and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and leadership to translate product and technical vision into a roadmap.
  • Write high quality, well-tested code to fulfill customer requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of software engineering experience.
  • Experience designing, building, scaling, and maintaining production services and composing service-oriented architectures.
  • Passion for building an open financial system leveraging crypto and blockchain.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience in rapid company growth environments (startup to mid-size).
  • Blockchain experience with Bitcoin, Ethereum, or similar.
  • Experience decomposing monoliths into microservices.
  • Proficiency with Golang, Ruby, Docker, Sinatra, Rails, Postgres, MongoDB, or Redshift.
  • Experience building financial, high reliability or security-critical systems.
  • Crypto-forward experience including onchain activity with Ethereum addresses, ENS, dApps, or blockchain-based services.

Compensation

  • Target annual salary range: $147,900 to $174,000 USD plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
