We are currently looking for a Software/CAD Automation Engineer to join our team. In this role you will build solutions to boost productivity and efficiency of custom circuit designs, and engage with cross-functional teams to ensure robustness of designs that impact all product lines.

Responsibilities

  • Work within a multi-functional team on projects involving pre-silicon and post-silicon hardware design and related data.
  • Support circuit design engineers by automating typical design tasks and improving efficiency.
  • Build flows and methodology around vendor EDA tools and design collaterals to streamline design and verification workflows.
  • Work closely with design engineers to support existing development infrastructure, identify improvements and deliver solutions.
  • Employ good software engineering practices to develop complex and scalable systems.

Requirements

  • MS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience; PhD preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in VLSI CAD flows and methodology; prior VLSI experience is required.
  • Good programming skills in multiple languages (C++, Tcl, Python, Makefile or other scripting languages).
  • Good interpersonal skills; quick learner, proactive, innovative, highly motivated and committed.

Ways to stand out

  • Experience with design collaterals such as .v, .gv, .lib, gds, etc.
  • Enjoy working with multiple levels and teams across organizations.
  • Effective interpersonal and technical presentation skills.
  • Self-starter with passion for growth and continuous learning, and willingness to share findings across the team.
