Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and leadership to develop a quarterly roadmap transforming product and technical vision into reality.
  • Write high-quality, well-tested code addressing customer needs.
  • Build new features and improve existing products like Coinbase.com, Prime, Wallet, etc.
  • Solve complex, large-scale technical problems.
  • Develop next-generation systems to enhance cryptocurrency accessibility across web, iOS, and Android platforms.
  • Operate real-time applications with high frequency, low latency; ensure platform security against fraud; enable engaging user experiences; and manage secure, cloud-based, dockerized infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Immediate availability to begin employment.
  • 1+ years of experience in software engineering or development.
  • Strong ability to write high-quality, well-tested code.
  • Enthusiasm for tackling hard problems and delivering results.
  • Self-motivated with commitment to personal growth.
  • Positive problem-solving attitude.
  • Degree or certificate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent work experience.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience on backend or frontend teams using Golang, MongoDB, AWS, Docker, Postgres, Ruby, Rails, or React Native.
  • Passion for blockchain, cryptocurrency, and building an open financial system uniting the world.
