We seek a passionate frontend engineer for our Trading team to build and scale systems powering crypto trading at Coinbase. Our work covers Simple Trade for everyday users, Advanced Trade for professionals, Derivatives, and Decentralized (DEX) trading, aiming to create a seamless and secure trading experience.

Responsibilities

  • Build engaging, dynamic, and intuitive realtime interfaces for price analysis, order execution, and trading data visualization.
  • Collaborate tightly with engineers, product, and design teams to deliver top-tier product experiences.
  • Translate ideas into valuable trading features favored by customers.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience developing web/mobile apps and shipping user-facing features using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Experience with component-based UI frameworks.
  • Familiarity with product and design lifecycles and close collaboration with designers, engineers, and product managers.
  • Ability to write high-quality, well-tested, extensible code.
  • Up-to-date with frontend architecture best practices and industry standards.
  • Proactive, growth mindset, and supportive of teammates.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience launching products from ground zero to scale.
  • Experience working on active trading or high-availability financial systems.
  • Active crypto or financial instruments trader.
  • Minimum 1 year in production-grade React Native mobile app development.
  • Experience with GraphQL and/or Relay.
  • Proven ability to optimize performance and reduce latency in critical user flows.
  • Crypto-forward experience including Ethereum address interaction, ENS, dApps, or blockchain services.

Position is remote with a pay range of $152,405 to $179,300 USD per year plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
