As a Solution Architect for Rabobank Tech4Engineering, you have an opportunity to design the technology that provides the digital experience of 7 million customers through our channels and provide a developer platform for over 3.000 developers within the Rabobank.

Within Tribe Tech4Engineering, area Tech4Ops our squads work on tools and supporting processes that help squads in keeping their applications Secure and Available

In this case we are looking for a Solution Architect for 2 squads that deliver a secure workplace/ environment to be used in Security or Pen- Testing. The other squad focusses on a solution where the requesting and workflow process for these tests is managed.

As a Solution Architect, you will define and manage the application architecture for your squads, ensuring alignment with the Target Architecture. You will translate business and IT requirements into actionable technical solutions, support the creation of the IT roadmap, and communicate these solutions effectively to stakeholders.

You will coach, guide, and support squads, collaborating closely with product owners and scrum masters to jointly manage the daily operations of the squad. You will ensure a vision for current and future solutions, leveraging your engineering experience, understanding of business drivers, and knowledge of emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

• Incorporate the latest architecture concepts into projects and initiatives
• Set and roadmap solution direction across the different squads
• Create and socialize end-to-end designs and solution architecture with squads, architecture colleagues, product owners and other business and IT representatives
• Mentor and coach the squads to implement the architecture and support the squads with challenges during all steps of the DevOps cycle
• Align with peers across the area and help develop craftsmanship within your squads and the area.

You and your talent

• Minimum 7 years working experience in relevant roles (in Ai-Sec-Ops/ IT DevOps/ Vulnerability Management) of which a minimum of 3 years of Solution Architecture experience in a complex environment
• Practical experience with architecture methods and techniques
• Knowledge of / Experience with (Security) Monitoring architectures and solutions
• You have a helicopter view: overseeing a wide domain and any consequences certain (design) decisions have
• You can architect future proof solutions
• You are not afraid to ‘get your hands dirty’ and become involved in complex analysis and implementation questions
• Good communication skills to collaborate with business users, colleague architects, and squad members
• Ability to communicate technical solutions in business terms, and can influence and persuade others with an open mindset
