Glean is the Work AI platform that helps everyone work smarter with AI. What began as the industry’s most advanced enterprise search has evolved into a full-scale Work AI ecosystem, powering intelligent Search, an AI Assistant, and scalable AI agents on one secure, open platform. Glean integrates with many enterprise SaaS systems and provides flexible LLM choice, robust APIs, and tooling to govern, scale, and customize AI across the business.

This role is the primary technical advisor to customers post-sale for the Enterprise & Strategic segment. You will guide customers through architecture, design, and implementation of Glean within their enterprise architecture, drive integrations and onboarding of data sources, and work closely with Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to ensure successful deployment and adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the customer’s primary technical advisor (acting like the CTO of the customer relationship).
  • Work with customers to onboard new data sources and implement custom integrations of Glean into their work environment and business application architecture.
  • Build and provide tools, templates, and documentation for customers to integrate with Glean based on their business application stack.
  • Identify opportunities to expand the use of Glean within customers’ application architectures.
  • Provide training and guidance to customer technical resources to enable them to manage, support, and extend Glean in their environment.
  • Align technical plans with customers and Glean Customer Success to ensure priorities are aligned and executed.
  • Assist with issue identification, troubleshooting, and remediation for assigned customers through resolution.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to drive product improvements that help customers expand adoption.
  • Participate actively in the Glean customer technical community.

Requirements

Technical skills

  • Software development experience in at least two of: Python, Java, Go.
  • API and custom data integration experience in Hybrid or SaaS environments.
  • Technical debugging skills: log analysis, code analysis, end-to-end transaction tracing.
  • Networking expertise, including cloud and on-premises networking.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud technologies in at least one of: Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Microsoft Azure.
  • Security & audit experience: able to understand the product’s technical and audit framework and represent it to customer security & audit stakeholders.
  • Experience in at least two of the following disciplines: Software Engineering, Pre-Sales Engineering, Post-Sales Engineering, Professional Services, Support Engineering.

Interpersonal skills

  • Clear communicator with professional presentation and interaction skills across customers and internal teams.
  • Project planning skills: plan and execute implementation of customer projects.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented; able to handle multiple issues and priorities.
  • Data-driven approach: utilize metrics and objective measurements to assess success and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Pre- or Post-sales Solution Architect experience in a product-led company is a strong plus.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent with at least 3 years of technical consulting experience, or
  • Master’s in Computer Science or equivalent with at least 1 year of technical consulting experience.

Compensation & Benefits

  • The standard OTE range for this position is $160,000 - $225,000 annually. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for variable compensation, equity, and benefits.
