Responsibilities
- Work with complex business and technical requirements and translate them into the design of solutions, including data visualization, workflow recommendations, migrations, and enterprise-scale architecture.
- Work directly with customers across the organization (C-suite to data scientists and developers) and act as a trusted advisor.
- Articulate and evangelize the company and product vision and positioning, and secure strategic commercial commitments.
- Use a solution-based approach to creating value for customers.
- Identify and drive initiatives that enable customers to turn their data into actionable business value and align initiatives with customer business outcomes.
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of experience with Open Source Software business models.
- Proficiency in Cloud and Infrastructure software.
- Experience with scalable and highly available distributed systems.
- Experience creating proof-of-concepts (POCs) and reference implementations.
Bonus Points
- Experience selling databases and/or deploying applications with major cloud providers.
- Experience with database programming and data models.
Compensation
- The typical starting salary for this role in the United States is $200,000 - $250,000 USD.
- The typical starting salary for this role in US Premium Markets (e.g., San Francisco Bay Area, New York City Metro Area) is $230,000 - $280,000 USD.
