Responsibilities

• Work closely with senior leaders to define and drive critical product systems aligned with the company’s future vision.
• Collaborate with Experience Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers to design and deliver high-quality user experiences.
• Establish technical vision and lead architecture, build, and launch of reliable, performant, and scalable solutions for quality-related products.
• Provide input on team roadmap and technical direction.
• Influence stakeholders to adopt team goals and roadmaps.
• Identify improvement areas and drive best practices.
• Hands-on development including building prototypes, making leadership presentations, and performing design and code reviews.
• Mentor and support career growth of individual contributors.

Requirements

• 9+ years of iOS engineering experience in tech industry with ownership of multiple product surfaces.
• Design-focused iOS engineer with experience in Swift and SwiftUI.
• Awareness of cross-platform similarities and differences with ability to advocate for web and Android concerns.
• Strong product sense with passion for UI/UX product development.
• Proven partnership with design and product leadership via collaboration, prototyping, and leadership demos.
• Experience leading multiple engineering teams, architecting and releasing complex user products.
• Excellent engineering and coding skills; experience with GraphQL and REST APIs.
• Solid understanding of animation, motion, client networking, performance, caching, client storage, accessibility, and asynchronous programming.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical partners.
• Proven ability to foster diversity and belonging in the organization and tech community.

Location

• US - Remote eligible; occasional office or offsite work may be required.
• Must reside in a state where Airbnb has a registered entity.

Benefits

• Base pay range: $204,000 - $255,000 USD.
• Eligibility for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
