Reddit is a community of communities with 100,000+ active communities and approximately 126 million daily active unique visitors. The Ads Measurement Org focuses on improving the efficiency and usability of Reddit's advertising platform. The Measurement Modeling team owns ML solutions for Ads Measurement including Identity Matching, Identity Graph, Utility Enhancement for Ads Privacy, Modeled Conversion, and other measurement initiatives. The team works at the intersection of the ads stack and collaborates cross-functionally with many teams (Measurement & Reporting, Experimentation, Personalization, Delivery, Safety, etc.).

This role (IC5 / Staff ML Engineer) will define long-term technical direction for ads identity modeling, drive architectural evolution, ensure engineering quality and best practices, lead cross-org initiatives, and champion ML/AI innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical strategy and architecture for ads identity modeling solutions and related ads measurement models.
  • Design and train advanced ML models, balancing accuracy, scalability, latency, and prediction quality while ensuring privacy compliance.
  • Oversee end-to-end ML workflows: data ingestion, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, and deployment; optimize for performance and cost.
  • Partner with product management, data science, platform engineering, privacy, and legal to define roadmaps and long-term goals.
