Responsibilities

  • You will work with cutting-edge technologies such as Spark, Kafka, and Kubernetes, and be responsible for setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to guarantee continuous integration and delivery.
  • You will manage and optimize cloud infrastructures using AWS services like Lambda, EKS, and Step Functions, and apply best practices in software development, including extensive testing methodologies.
  • You will ensure consistent and reproducible environments that make our data platforms robust and scalable, using your knowledge of Infrastructure as Code frameworks like Terraform.

Requirements

  • Master's or bachelor's in software engineering, data engineering or related field
  • Experience with backend engineering using JVM based server-side programming languages
  • Experience with Python
  • Experience working in building custom and automated pipelines

Preferred technical skills:

  • Experience with test suits for Python / JVM in developing Unit and/or Integration Testing
  • Experience building software as a containerised service / micro service
  • Experience with AWS: Lambda, Batch, Step Functions, EKS, Glue, Kafka (MSK), etc.
  • Experience with setting up CI/CD
  • Experience and understanding of managing and using Kubernetes
  • Experience and understanding of managing Infrastructure as Code (with Terraform preferred)
