Details
We are searching for a highly motivated, creative engineer with experience in software design who is passionate about their work. As part of your responsibility, you will design and implement software for Graphic Processing Units (GPUs). You will participate in designing power management software architectures for constantly evolving GPU architectures, influence powerful designs, support product launches, and address graphics-related problems that impact end users and OEM partners.
Responsibilities
- Define, design and develop GPU system software components with focus on power and performance.
- Drive and resolve issues independently across teams and fields.
- Influence GPU architecture and system software by creating architecture and design specifications.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with teams around the globe.
Requirements
- 8+ years of proven experience or related field.
- B.S. or higher degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science/Engineering or related field.
- Strong programming skills in C.
- In-depth knowledge of low-level interfaces such as interrupt handling, GPIO programming, DMA, PCIe, and I2C.
- Strong background in OS internals, real-time embedded operating systems, algorithms and data structures.
- Experience in device driver programming and debugging; Windows driver knowledge preferred.
- Experience with computer architecture and graphics driver stacks is a plus.
- Ability to work closely with both software and hardware designers to create new features and solutions.
- Strong teammate and lead; self-motivated with a positive demeanor.
Ways to stand out
- Experience in software power management and optimization of embedded systems.
- Prior experience designing real-time software controllers.
- Working experience in system software, operating system internals, kernel modules, and device drivers.
- Advanced knowledge of computer architectures, low-level device programming and bus interfaces (PCIe, I2C, SPI, etc.).
Additional information
- Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD.
- You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
