NVIDIA is seeking a candidate to perform data analysis for datacenter applications. This role contributes to advancements in artificial intelligence and GPU computing by analyzing large-scale system design and applying machine learning to GPU-accelerated clusters. The team works with accelerated computing and deep learning software/hardware platforms, OS and container technologies, GPU compute and systems specialists to architect, develop, and optimize large-scale performance software components.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze large-scale workloads and search for application and infrastructure improvement opportunities.
  • Provide actionable insights on high-dimensional data to assist engineers in building solutions based on NVIDIA technology.
  • Research and analyze data, identify trends, link changes to recorded events, craft conclusions, and create visuals to support data-driven decisions.
  • Work closely with team members to learn analysis needs and communicate findings.
  • Apply machine learning or deep learning techniques for classification and prediction; implement and integrate models into existing software toolsets for team use.
  • Document work and materials to enable the team to build on contributions.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience debugging and analyzing data and building visuals that show trends of interest.
  • BS or MS in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent program.
  • Strong programming skills, especially in Python and JavaScript.
  • Exposure to telemetry tools such as Grafana, Elasticsearch, or Splunk.
  • Understanding of core machine learning techniques and concepts.
  • Fast self-learning capabilities, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills; desire to learn and be part of a committed team.

Preferred / Ways to Stand Out

  • Experience with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Action-driven analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Exposure to high-performance or large-scale computing environments.
  • Experience visualizing high-dimensional data problems.
  • Exposure to Linux-based operating systems.

Compensation

  • Base salary range (Level 2): 124,000 USD - 195,500 USD per year.
  • Base salary range (Level 3): 152,000 USD - 241,500 USD per year.
  • Eligible for equity and benefits.
