Vinterns 2025

Our Vintern programme offers a unique opportunity to dive into the professional world with our industry-leading teams. This initiative is designed not just to bolster your resume with impactful work experience, but also to enhance your interpersonal skills through collaborative projects with fellow Vinterns. Here’s a glimpse of what to expect:

  • Hands-On Work Experience: Spend 85% of your time working closely with your team, contributing to meaningful projects and gaining insights from experienced professionals.
  • Collaborative Learning: Dedicate 15% of your time to work alongside other Vinterns, embarking on joint projects that foster teamwork, innovation, and critical thinking.
  • Personal and Professional Growth: Our programme is tailored to support your development in every sense, preparing you for a successful future by nurturing both your personal attributes and professional skills.

The programme extends from July 1st to either September 5th. To maximise the benefits of the Vintern programme, successful applicants must be available for the entire duration.

In the first week, all interns are invited to our HQ in Vilnius for communal onboarding. It's a fantastic way to meet everyone and get a feel for our culture.

Information about the position

As an intern, you'll contribute to the listing and shopping experience on Vinted through improvements to Vinted’s categories and attributes, which power the listing, search and, navigation experience on Vinted. Your team's goal is to develop taxonomies and metadata structures that promote and balance the needs of sellers and buyers in our two-sided marketplace.

In this position, you’ll

  • Develop an understanding of e-commerce taxonomy management best practices, metadata, brand management and vocabulary standards, and building cross-functional relationships;
  • Design, revise, and evaluate buyer and seller-facing product taxonomies;
  • Work with specialists like user researchers and data analysts to test data models and metadata for the best results;
  • Learn about balancing international and industry standards with user needs; and
  • Collaborate and connect with a wide range of internal teams including software engineers, product managers, product designers, content designers, legal, communications, and customer support.

  • Ready to commit, own and create
  • Preferred: Advanced coursework in Library and Information Science, and/or systems and business analysis
